The Olsen twins are still pushing round John Lennon-esque sunglasses as a sunglasses trend, though we've seen very few other examples of the style. Mary-Kate Olsen looked great in a black and gold kaftan-style dress and black pointed pumps for an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman. Isn’t it all too telling to see the "newspaper of record" passing off the juvenile claims of a handful posters at Daily Kos as national "news"? Still, do you remember when the New York Times was a real newspaper and not merely a propaganda sheet for the Democrat Party? I don’t either.

A week ago the minority federal government of Canada, and Industry Minister Jim Prentice, tabled an amendment to the Copyright Act. Entitled Bill C-61, its purpose is to bring Canadian copyright law into compliance with the current WIPO treaty (this despite their being no international legal obligation to implement WIPO - it hasn’t been ratified by Canada).
